Yorktown - Travel Dynamics - Refit / Maintenance at the Bayonne Dry-dock Company |
Travel Dynamic's, Yorktown spent the last week in drydock at the Bayonne Drydock Company in Bayonne New Jersey. This mini cruise-ship, having a length of 257 ft. and a beam: 43 ft, was dwarfed by the massive 1,092 foot long X 148 foot wide drydock.
The Yorktown arrived at the drydock on 10/4/2012 and under went repairs, routine maintenance and upgrade of passenger spaces.
The Yorktown sailed from the Bayonne Drydock Company on Friday 10/12 at 3:30 PM, heading up the Hudson River, to the East River, into Long Island Sound, and on the Providence, Rhode Island for her sailing which departed on 10/13.
This cruise will visit New England, the Hudson River and New York. The cruise will end in New York on October 20th, 2012. The itinerary is below.
